Sorbead LE-32
High-performance adsorbent for special applications, also known as KC-Trockenperlen LE-32
BASF SorbeadLE-32 is a high-performance, acid-resistant silica adsorbent for dehydration and separation processes.
The BASF Sorbead line of highly efficient adsorbents are alumino-silicate gels in the form of hard, spherical beads, with a very high resistance to crushing and a low attrition rate. Sorbead adsorbents have a longer life than most other adsorbents and can reduce operating costs in most applications.
Sorbead LE-32 is a water-resistant silica gel with very low aluminium content.
Due to its very high drying capacity, Sorbead LE-32 is very much suited for air dehumidification and adsorption heat storage. Besides general drying applications, Sorbead LE-32 is also used for separation of CO2 from gas mixtures.
